There is no lead body or council for Sports Therapy or Sports Rehabilitation.

Currently the STA do not see any added value of joining an Accredited Register, in our opinion the registers which accept Sports Massage Practitioners and Sports Therapists are commerically driven, the stated benefits are unsupported by evidence and as a voluntary accessed body have little authority to police the whole industry.
