Your membership certificate, containing your Membership number and Expiry Date can be found in your individual Dropbox folder, issued when you joined or renewed. Your dropbox folder title also contains your membership number. EG Gary Benson STA2001

Log in at thesta.co.uk using the username and password you created and all codes are in the members portal

You will have been sent a link to your individual Dropbox folder, which we suggested you save the link in a safe place. The link is also visible in your Member Profile page, which is the default page when you login, under the Edit Profile tab, and is shown to the right of the Membership Document Link approximately a third of the way down the page. If you are having trouble locating it please email jake@thesta.co.uk. You do not need to pay for a Dropbox account, the files are kept securely in the STA account and we simply permit access to you.

The STA affinity scheme insurance is available to members once an application has been approved. The cost in the region of £60 (Subject to change) and we provide a link in the welcome letter in your Dropbox folder to deal directly with Balens Insurance who administer our policy and are appropriately regulated to offer advice and sell insurance products. You can also access the link directly after logging in to the members area of the STA website.

Usually if you have set up a recurring subscription (currently £60 per annum) you will send us money on the anniversary of your membership application, if you joined using the annual (currently £75) you will be required to follow the steps in the renewal emails and complete the online process. We do not currently accept card payments over the phone. You will receive reminders 30,20 and 10 days prior to expiry to your registered email address. Receipts are issued at the time of the payment being made, by the payment portal, we recommend you save or print it at this time. The office cannot issue recepits retrospectively. You will receive an automated email once a new membership or renewal has been completed, this email will also contain the amount paid for membership or renewal.

You created these login details when you joined, the admin staff do not have access to this information but can assist in resetting your password. Please do not use the reset password link more than once or you will de-activate your account. If you use hotmail, gmail, yahoo, AOL or a unique email account from your own website it is likely that they will block the reset link. To reset your account you will need to be online and we can do this over the phone with Sta Gary as reset links are time sensitive. Email gary@thesta.co.uk to arrange a call.
